Use it freely as serving dishes. Everything I make is sanitized with alcohol and sealed with food-safe shellac or food-safe water-based polyurethane.
Hand washes only, please! Use soap and a soft sponge to clean your item, then dry it quickly.
Season when needed. If it looks dull or feels dry, generously apply linseed or mineral oil with a soft cloth. Let the oil soak in for about 15 minutes, then wipe it with a clean cloth or paper towels. If your mushrooms or vases look a little dull or dry apply a little mineral oil with a soft cloth.

What not to do with your wood product
Don't put it in the microwave or dishwasher. Natural wood cracks when it's overheated or gets too wet.
Don't leave it wet, either in the sink or filled with water. Excess moisture causes the wood to warp and crack.
